Install guide
Set up in two minutes.
Four steps from licence key to a coloured Ads Manager view.
Get your licence key
Sign up with your email — the key appears on screen straight away, and we email you a copy.
Add SPRAT to Chrome
Install it from the Chrome Web Store, then pin it: click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome’s toolbar and the pin beside SPRAT.
Activate
Click the SPRAT icon, paste your key and choose Activate. One key covers up to 3 browser installations, and it follows your Chrome profile — sign in to Chrome on another computer and there’s nothing to retype.
Colour your first view
Open Ads Manager on Campaigns, Ad sets or Ads with the view you want. Click the SPRAT icon, choose Edit rules, then Detect columns from Ads Manager. Add a rule — or Add starter ROAS & CTR rules for a one-click start. Colours apply as you type; there’s no Save button.
Worth knowing
- Rules run top to bottom, and the first match wins. Put narrow conditions above broad ones.
- Match a whole family of columns with name contains — one ROAS rule then covers the plain column and its 1-day and 7-day windows.
- Rule sets follow your naming convention. Give a set a token like
TOForBOFand it applies to any campaign with that token in its name — and to its ad sets and ads. - Right-click a campaign, ad set or ad name to pin a note. Shift+right-click still gives you Chrome’s own menu.
If something doesn’t colour
- SPRAT colours results tables. On an ad edit or creation screen there’s no table — go back to Campaigns, Ad sets or Ads.
- A rule’s column name has to match the detected name exactly, including windows like
· 1 day. Switch the rule to name contains to cover them all. - A colour scale needs a baseline. Columns whose totals row shows an average work straight away; for the rest, compare against a fixed value.
- Still stuck? Reload the Ads Manager tab once — that always resets it.
Moving computers
Each browser you activate uses one of your 3 installations. To free them up, go to spratapp.com/release — we’ll email a one-time link to the address you signed up with. Your rules and notes stay put.
